Nessol Solvents – low aromatic hydrocarbon solvents

In the beginning of 2018, we changed all the product names of our solvent offering to better meet the international industry standards. The new names make the product qualities, particularly flashpoint of each product grade, easier to recognize, enabling our customers to easily differentiate between product grades
Dearomatized hydrocarbon solvents
These solvents are aromatic-free, and they increase in density and flash point with increasing index number. Further details concerning their composition is given below:
NESSOL™ Pentane15
Pentane-type dearomatized hydrocarbon solvent. Highly volatile and flammable. Use: As a propellant in plastic manufacturing and blowing agent in foams.
NESSOL™ D40
Highly purified dearomatized hydrocarbon solvent. Flammable liquid. Use: In the manufacturing of paints, varnishes, wood preservatives, plasters and tapes, as a thinner for rust prevention substances, in cleaning (grease, oil, wax), and dry cleaning.
NESSOL™ D60
Highly purified, slowly evaporating dearomatized hydrocarbon solvent. Combustible liquid. Use: In cleaning (grease, rust prevention substances, oil), as a lamp oil substitute, in shoe polishes.
NESSOL™ D80
Specially purified, slowly evaporating dearomatized hydrocarbon solvent. Combustible liquid. Use: As a carbon dioxide producing fuel in greenhouses, as a heater fuel, in lighting, rolling of aluminum, and drilling.
